McCain`s Choice For VP Demeans All Women

McCains`s choice for his VP shows either he has dementia and everyone is afraid to tell him,or he thinks that by pandering to the far right anyone of her ilk,)I do not mean elk) either. This woman is not tomorrows woman or even todays woman. She is someone who would take the strides we as women have made and set them back forty years,possibly longer. Betty Friedan must be rolling in her grave.
She wants to take evolution out of the schools and put in creationism in,does not believe in global warming. Would we as women have to go back to the back streets of some back woods nation,or know someone who knows someone?
As a mother,she sets a horrible example. The Republicans are always talking about Pro Life,and no one is Pro Abortion,she made her choice in having her son. That was HER CHOICE.. However to take on the position of VP when her when her young daughter is pregnant shows a total lack of regard for her family. It also shows McCain's complete pandering to the far right.
What kind of a mother puts her child under the glare of such personal scrutiny and the harsh light of the media and everything that will come out about her family.
She wants to remove books from libraries,even cutting the budget of her own library in hometown while she was mayor!
How can she in a speech on last Friday thank Hillary Clinton for paving the way for her. Sen. Clinton must be catatonic by now with all the work she has done with the eighteen million cracks she made in the ceiling. This will not only fix it,but raise it to a new standard.
Foreign Policy? What foreign policy,maybe she stood at one end of the Bering Straits,and looked into Russia, I guess that is better than looking into Putin's eyes, look where that has gotten us. She has just gotten her passport in the last year or so to visit the Alaskan National Guard overseas. What right does she have in even having the hubris to accept this position. It is not only demeaning, degrading to we women,but sets one hell of an example to today`s youth. Where is Jamie Spears when you really need her?
While Hillary Clinton may have lost in votes to Senator Obama she gained in respect and hopefully he will appoint her to the Supreme Court when there is a vacancy. We have come such a long way that it is indeed a shame for us to be once again be regulated to second class citizens and have the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Pat Buchanan's` of the world hold it up to progress. I could cry. This is not a choice it is pandering pure and simple.
